Let’s get ready to party!
Friends, let me just tell you, I LOVE weddings. There is nothing better than putting on a pretty dress, grabbing a glass a bubbly, and celebrating some of your friends or family! But, as fun as they are, I always struggle with figuring out what to wear. I always find myself gravitating towards pretty patterns and shapes like the dress I have pictured above from ASOS. This one is super similar! I picked some of my favorite looks to help you (and myself) when getting ready for weddings in the future.
I am actually obsessed with all 3 of these looks! They are EVERYTHING. They are all so great because you could definitely wear them on a normal day or to a wedding! Whenever I am buying a dress for a special occasion, I try to find things that can be worn more often. I think that all of these looks would be great to dress up or down, which is always a plus.
Look 1: Garden Wedding
Garden weddings are always so much fun, and it seems like a crime not to wear florals. I love any excuse for a good floral frock! I love this Club Monaco Dress pictured below. To me spring and summer are the seasons of never ending florals, and I couldn’t love it more!
Look 2: Black Tie
Black tie is sometimes the trickiest attire to find. You may not want to wear a floor length gown because you might never wear it again, and that’s why I am obsessed with this one shoulder dress Carly has on! The color is so fun for spring and summer, and the silhouette is basically perfect! You can totally wear it to a black tie wedding, but it will work perfectly for other wedding styles too.
Look 3: Cocktail Attire
Whenever you’re in doubt about what to wear to a wedding, lace is always a good option. I love Grace’s dress above because it could easily be translated into any dress code! This dress, this dress, and this dress are great lace options for any wedding beyond just cocktail attire. All you need is a cute clutch and you are good to go! Plus, each of these would also look great with sandals for a summer date night or for church.
