I mean, it’s amazing.
Hi!! I’m officially back from family vacation and so happy to be home and in the swing of things again! I took a week off from the blogging and it felt so good, but honestly, I missed y’all. We spent the week at my family’s cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia where we practically did nothing. Truthfully, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Lots of time snuggled up under the covers reading, fireside chats, and family pancake breakfasts!
We planned this trip in hopes that we’d actually catch the leaves this year, and WE FINALLY DID IT (here’s proof!). After years and years of missing the peek Fall season we nailed it this year and the mountain looked like a box of crayons, it was breathtaking.
Quilted Jacket for Fall
But when it came to packing for this trip I waaaay overpacked just because I was beyond excited to wear layers. Even though it wasn’t freezing (although, compared to Orlando it was down right arctic)… I went for it. My favorite thing I packed for this trip was this quilted jacket. GUYSSS. This jacket is so good. I grew up with my grandmother’s quilts and after a long day there is nothing I love more than getting cozy in a quilt with a cup of tea, so when I saw this, I ordered it on the spot. It’s legit like wearing one of my grandmother’s quilts and it sparks ALL the joy.
If you are looking for a fun piece to add to your wardrobe this season, this might be just the thing. I’m tempted to wear it all day like a robe it’s so comfy!
And the jeans!!
Side Note: The jeans are also one of my best purchases of the season. True to size, comfortable, and flattering. So good.
