I love the idea of pulling together a Summer Capsule Wardrobe with the pieces you already own and love, plus a few new purchases sprinkled in. Especially as we head into the second half of summer, it’s a great practice to do anytime you start feeling “Outfit Fatigue”–ha! I hope this Summer Capsule helps you find new inspiration and give some of the pieces in your closet another chance.

My summer Capsule essentials
What would a Summer Capsule be without a flowy midi dress? I wore this gorgeous tiered lilac dress all around Boston last weekend, and it was perfect for a day of exploring, followed by cocktails and dinner. I also have my eye on this floral shirt dress from Tuckernuck. It has three-quarter length sleeves and a relaxed boxy fit that makes it one of those dresses you can dress up or down.
All summer, I’ve been wearing my Everlane shorts non-stop. If you haven’t tried their denim yet, start with these shorts. They’re only $50, and I am sure you will love them as much as I do! Another recent staple for me has been a simple white sweater. I like to toss it over my shoulders on chilly evenings when I’m traveling or heading out for dinner.
My most worn pair of sandals this summer have been these Raffia slides. I was finally able to find them back in stock, and, best of all, they have a cushioned footbed, so they’re super comfortable to walk around in. You know how much I love my Dragon Diffusion tote, and I often get asked for more affordable options. So when I came across this tote on Madewell’s website, I knew I had to share it with you! It’s half the price and has a similar woven look.
