Okay, so here’s the real question… which one of these would you like to sit and have your morning cup of coffee in?! I feel like it’s a BIG decision, no?! I think we will have room for three stools on our new island (and I’m THRILLED!!) but I’ve been searching for weeks and haven’t quite picked out THE. ONE.

Although, this one is by far my favorite of the moment. I was nervous at first glance about the cushion, but from everything I’ve read it looks like it’s performance fabric and really holds up well. But I don’t know, I want them to be all things comfortable, functional, and pretty!

I like the Birch Lane Glover counter stool. It has a back, nail heads for classic style and no rattan weave on the seat to give you waffle butt-lol! Treat the fabric with scotch guard and you’re good to go! The price point is very affordable and won’t break the bank.

I have S&L Rivera counter stools and they are really great. However, I waited until a month or so after the kitchen was finished to make a decision and I am glad I did. The Rivera was not my first choice. But I do sit a lot at the island and they are comfortable.

I’ve been obsessed with the Serena and Lilly balboa stool for years! The only thing keeping me from purchasing them is right now we’re renting a starter home from my in-laws for only the next 4-5 years and the previous owners left their bar height stools for us which I don’t hate. I know in our forever home I’ll redo the kitchen eventually and want counter height at an island not bar height so I wouldn’t be able to take them with us. and for that price I figure I’ll hold off. But they would be beautiful in your kitchen!
