Central Park Style
In November, Ryan and I spent 7 days in New York City for events, meetings, and a bit of fun. The entire trip felt like a magical-whirlwind! We were busy hopping from place to place and event to event, but each time we passed by Central Park we had to just stop and stare. If you haven’t been to Central Park in the Fall, you need to stop what you are doing right now and put it on your bucket list. It’s one of the most incredible things you’ve ever seen. The colors are so vibrant and the people are buzzing with excitement about the holiday season. It’s all When Harry Met Sally You’ve Got Mail-esque and it’s the best.
As soon as I spotted this little deer skirt, or as I like to call it “My Reindeer Skirt”, from Draper James, I fell in love and thought it would be perfect for Central Park! Plus, I could get some really great use out of it during the holidays being my “Reindeer Skirt” and all!
As soon as it came in I knew it was going to be my favorite new thing in my closet, and I was right. I find myself wanting to wear it to every event since! I’m thinking it may end up being my Christmas Eve skirt, I love it that much!
I ended up pairing it with my favorite top and coat at the moment from Draper James. Both of these are classic pieces. Actually, I’m wearing this same top in Tuesday’s post as well! You can never go wrong with a classic!
I love pairing really fun whimsical pieces with classic ones. Also, did you write down “go to Central Park” on your to-do list yet?! Because you need to.
