Good Morning and Happy Monday to you! Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend…
Photo 1: Dinner Party
On Saturday night we hosted a dinner party for a few of our favorite people. There is nothing quite as fun as prepping the house for a fancy dinner party, and whipping up a few of my yummiest dishes. The menu we came up with was very spring-y and seasonal, but I have to say that my favorite part of the night was dessert! Homemade strawberry shortcake, holy goodness…. I could eat this all day.
P.S. I thought I would share with you the recipes I made, they are too good — you must make them!
The Perfect Spring Dinner Party Menu:
First Course:
Charcuterie Plate
Second Course:
Third Course:
Kale and Brussels Sprouts Salad with Bacon and Pecorino
Fourth Course:

Photo 2: The Perfect Gift
I love bunnies. Little known fact, I actually may be somewhat of a bunny whisperer. True story. I can catch a wild bunny (yes, I know this is probably not safe, but they are cute and have you seen their little bushy tails?!), I can train a bunny–let’s be real… I am practically Dr. Doolittle. With that being said, I am kinda sorta obsessed with bunnies, so when my bestie gifted this little magical gold bunny to me at girl’s night, I just about had a heart attack. IT’S THE CUTEST THING EVER.
Photo 3: Relax
On Sunday after a full weekend of party prep, I finally sat down and flipped through the latest issue of PORTER Magazine with a nice hot cup of coffee. It was a Happy Sunday indeed!
I hope your weekend was equally as lovely, but for now I am off to go get this week started! Cheers to an extra fabulous and productive week!! xx
I’ve witnessed first hand the catching of bunnies and the whispering to them. Love the recipes and will be making a few of them.
Thank you for the recipes, I can’t wait to try the strawberry shortcake and Ina’s risotto! And that gold bunny is the cutest! Also, where did you find your floral/spring plates? I love them, and any pretty plates! xo
