My Weekend Lookbook: March 19-20, 2011

Ashley Brooke Designs Weekend Lookbook 3|19-20

Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine was welcomed  after a crazy week… I blame it on the time change! Anyways, here is a little look at what we were up to this weekend…

Photo 1: My husband, Manuel, and I participated in a photography workshop called Images for a Cure a few weeks ago for our good friends Becka & Nate of Studio 222. We had such a great time helping them out and I have to say it has been quite fun seeing the images from all of the students who participated in the workshop! They were each so sweet to send us copies of the photographs for us to keep. This particular one is from Becka & Nate and I just love it, mostly because of that cute dimple!

Photo 2: I have a love hate relationship with spring… I absolutely love Spring evenings, the promise of brightly colored flowers, and of course white pants but I hate it because of my EPIC allergies, and for that reason I need to live in a bubble. Although, there are some nights that are just too pretty to pass up, I grab my tissues and my eye drops and head out for a stroll. This Saturday was one of those evenings.

Photo 3: My Great Grandma Ann’s 98th birthday is today (Happy Birthday Grandma!!)! So yesterday we had quite the party in her honor. She is one of my very favorite people, I have learned so much from her and continue to each time we chat. Grandma is incredible.   She looks SO young, is in perfect health, lives on her own, and doesn’t even need assistance to get around, so I asked her, “Grandma, what is your secret?” and she said “optimism, exercise and good shoes”, so there you have it!

Cheers to a wonderful week! xo- AB

P.S. Don’t forget, you can help Japan with pretty ABD paper for just $25.oo! Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to help.
