Mix and Match Vintage China
My love for pretty plates, tea cups, and glassware has been around for as long as I can remember. I used to go with my mom and dad to antique shows and just stand in awe of all the delicate floral china while they shopped for furniture, hoping that one day I would be able to own a set! As soon as I had my own home I started collecting pretty pieces of china and glassware that caught my eye. I only have one full set, but if I can convince Ryan to build me a massive china cabinet I would be scooping up full collections on Etsy left and right, because nothing makes me happier than pretty plates.
We use our vintage china daily and I love that most of it came from either our travels or stops at nearby thrift stores. What I love most about that is nothing is “too precious” to actually use. And truthfully an afternoon espresso is just so much better in a fancy tea cup!
Since I use these daily I get a lot of questions about china patterns, where I found certian things, etc… so I thought it would be fun to break everything down for you! Hopefully this post is helpful and you’ll be able to find everything you are looking for.
Where I Buy Vintage China Online
If you are shopping for fun vintage china pieces I would recommend you start with Etsy (so many great finds!), but if you are looking for a specific pattern, Replacements is hands down the best.

I love collecting vintage pieces as well and only have a few pieces, but like you wanting a complete set. I need to start working on that!!!I said all of that to ask, where do you store your pieces or do you have them displayed?

Also, in regards to storage, truthfully… I have it everywhere! ha! Nothing on display but in cabinets all over the house and kitchen!

Ah! Thanks Alisha!
I love your collection! I have two incomplete sets that were my great grandmother’s and I’m working to find pieces to complete the sets. I love browsing the aisles of thrift and antique stores, especially for teacups. I started a collection of mismatched teacups and seeing your collection makes me want to broaden my collection!

Collecting china is just the best!
Thanks for sharing. I too love china. I am currently trying to find something that is blue and white floral and am leaning toward getting Johnson Brothers Devon Cottage, I just think it is so cute! Also that is amazing your neighbor gave you the Lenox Blue Tree, looks perfect for Easter and spring@
