I’ve tried so many beauty products over the years and have found SO many great ones, but I’ve recently landed on a new routine that I have been absolutely loving… and my skin loves it too!
A few months ago I went to my dermatologist for my yearly skin check and I asked her what I should be doing for my skincare routine. I felt like my skin had gotten a little tired of my current routine and was ready to switch it up, she recommended I try Dr. Zo’s Skin Health line, so I picked it up. I thought maybe I’d like it but, I am honestly SHOCKED by how much.
I’m not sure my skin has ever looked this bright. I still have breakouts, but they’re not nearly as often and I just feel like my skin is truly clearer than it has ever been, which is huge!
My dermatologist recommended trying this program to see if my skin agreed with the product which comes with a cleanser, exfoliator, renewal pads, and moisturizer. All of which I completely fell in love with. But I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to live without the renewal pads, they have been such a game changer for me.
Also, I love that this isn’t a 19 step program. It’s 3 easy steps (4 when I exfoliate) and I’m done. Simplicity is key, especially for my skin.
Anyway, I hope this post is helpful, especially for those of you who, like me, are always in an uphill battle with your skin!
P.S. I know I have said this like a zillion times, but I have very sensitive and acne prone skin. I was on Accutane in high school. I stopped eating dairy (almost 4 years now) and gluten (over 1 year now) in hopes to not only heal my stomach (which it did) but clear up my cystic acne (which it also did). My acne isn’t like typical acne, it’s usually deep under the surface of my skin and will painfully swell the affected area. Gosh, it’s the worst, but fortunately I can conceal it fairly well when it does happen. But it feels like I’ve been seriously punched in the face. Ouch!
P.P.S. Also, since you wouldn’t believe how often I get asked, I’m 33 and haven’t had botox, etc.. Although I’m sure at some point, I will! Not against it at all! ha!
