Gallery Wall Magic
Okay, so… can we just talk about how romantic and magical gallery walls seem UNTIL YOU TRY AND DO ONE YOURSELF. Seriously though, WHY are they so hard?! Especially when Pinterest mocks you and makes you feel like you need an art wall in your house that is perfectly curated with the mix of new and old, trendy and weird, etc. etc… I mean honestly, where do you even start to try and pull that off? Thrift stores? Art galleries? Garage sales? Ebay? and not to mention, who has time for that?!
In all reality, I just want something pretty on my walls, and I hate to say it… but time is of the essence. And THAT my friends is where Minted comes in.
I’ve literally been hiding under a rock apparently, because I totally missed the whole “Minted is selling framed art” situation! And when I actually started to dig into it I realized, Minted isn’t just selling framed art, they are selling REALLY great framed art! This was juuuust what I was looking for… a one stop shop, if you will. I could design my gallery wall, find my art (funky, classic, modern, and weird) all right there, AND BONUS have it delivered to my house already framed and ready to install. It might just be the best thing that has ever happened.
And in case you’re wondering about the pieces I chose…

Gallery Wall Layout Tips
When we sat down to order our gallery wall, I sketched out a general idea of what I wanted… if you are having a hard time figuring out your ideal layout, just search “gallery wall layouts” in Pinterest. This search will either make you jump for joy or make you in need of a strong cocktail, so proceed with caution!
We went off of my sketch while we were ordering, and then once everything came in (and OMG it ships quick!) we laid it out on the floor and made a few last minute adjustments before installing it on the wall.
I am so happy with our choices, and I am kind of wanting to expand the wall out even further! I am a gallery wall addict, and am never sure when one should actually stop. But regardless, I LOVE it and want more!
One really important thing about any art piece going into my home is whether it has a degree of exclusivity. I don’t really want one million people with my exact same art. A few is fine, but it just can’t be too many.
Fortunately Minted’s collection offers hundreds of Limited Edition Art prints where only a small number of each piece is created. So it lowers the chance of walking into your neighbor’s house and seeing your painting on their wall.
