Business in the Front, Party in the Back

I love a jumpsuit; it’s my go-to when I don’t know what to wear. It’s not pants, it’s not a dress, it’s not a suit, it’s a hybrid… and it’s fabulous. Much like a dress, a jumpsuit is so easy to wear because it’s one piece. No picking out tops and bottoms, you just slip it on, zip it up and you’ve got a look.

After last week’s post on finding my style I’ve been more intentional in the way I’ve been dressing lately, and it has actually made getting ready in the morning so much more fun. I feel like I see my closet and the pieces in it in a whole different light, this piece being one of them.

I purchased this jumpsuit back in December for a holiday party, but it was delayed in shipment and did not arrive in time.  That’s more than fine because… it’s so fun to wear I know it will become a staple.

The fabric is forgiving and this particular silhouette also comes in black as well, which is a total no brainier! I’m wearing a size four here and it fits like a glove! I often order a size up with jumpsuits and have them tailored because of my height, but this one was a perfect fit right out of the box.

Also I love that you can dress this up like I did with a pair of strappy heels and a special pair of earrings, but it can easily be worn with a pair of sandals and a denim jacket, which makes this such a fun piece to have in your arsenal.

And while we are on the topic, these earrings by Loren Hope are an absolute favorite of mine. They add such a sweet feminine touch with a pop of glamour. I’ve been wearing these sparklers with a crisp white shirt, chambray tops, and of course more special pieces like this jumpsuit. They are worth every single penny. Plus, I can’t wear them without receiving like a billion complements… and who doesn’t love that! 😉

The next time you are looking for a “wow” piece that you can wear over and over again, think jumpsuit. I promise you won’t be sorry!

All of that BBG is paying off big time because your body looks INSANE! I love jumpsuits but they don’t flatter me. This one is making me want to reconsider, though!
