January’s Book: The Prenup

The Prenup by Lauren Layne

Happy New Year! Who is excited for 2020?! It feels like a big year with great things ahead if you ask me! And up first is our January pick: The Prenup by Lauren Layne. Our team picked this up on a whim and all ended up loving it! I listened to it on audio, and Betsy and Katherine went the book route – it’s fabulous in any format. I thought this was the perfect fun and flirty read to kick off the new year! I hope you love it as much as I did.

Quick Summary:

Charlotte Spencer left her Upper East Side, blue blooded family 10 years ago after marrying her brother’s best friend. Colin Walsh needed a green card and Charlotte needed access to her trust fund, which was only available to her once she was married. A marriage of convenience and not much more, Charlotte hasn’t seen her groom in years when he suddenly calls asking for a divorce and they both learn their prenup included a special clause. They can’t end their marriage without living together for 3 months. Charlotte moves back to New York to endure the 3 months and get out of the marriage that never was, but her and Colin’s story may not be over just yet.
