Light Outerwear for a Sunny Afternoon
The weather in Florida this last week has been unreal. Breezy, 70’s by day, 50’s by night, and pleasantly sunny, which meant it was time to break out some of my favorite Fall pieces and take them for a spin.

On Monday, Ryan and I spent the morning in Mount Dora, Florida. If you haven’t been, go! It’s one of my very favorite little towns nearby. The shops are picturesque, quirky, and full of character. The whole place feels like a Hallmark movie just waiting to happen.
We enjoyed the morning window shopping, sipping coffee, and just getting some good old fashioned fresh air! I ended up bringing my favorite sweater of the season and I am so glad I did! The weather was perfect for it. It has definitely become the most loved item in my closet right now… It goes with everything!
Breaking in the new mules
I also ended up breaking out my new pink pouf mules that I’ve been raving about on Instagram for the last few weeks. They had been sitting in my closet begging to be taken out. To be honest, I was a bit nervous, because of their mere $48 price point, that they would kill my feet, but I can tell you that they are, without a doubt, my new favorite! So comfortable and easily walkable. I strolled all afternoon in these and got so many complements. Definitely worth the $48! Also, as an FYI, if you are in-between sizes, I’d size up!
I’ve also been looking for another reason to wear my favorite white pants again (styled differently here) and this was the perfect time! I am such a sucker for an all white Fall look, but more than that, I just love the way these pants fit!
They are definitely the most comfortable (non denim) pants I own. They 1000% percent live up to their hype. If you are looking to stock up on a few new pairs of work appropriate pants, ladies, now’s the time! They are marked down to $35.99 from $79. They are true to size, not see-though (praise!), and hug in all the right places. There are also a variety of colors to pick from. Definitely look into it if work pants are on your shopping list!
Keep. It. Simple.
I love sweet and simple outfits like this, especially for the weekend, and have been feeling more drawn to them lately. There’s nothing quite like the simplicity of my favorite sweater and pair of fancy shoes!
