Pink For Spring!
Sponsored by L’Oreal Paris
First, let me just say I’m really excited about this post for a few reasons; I love a good springtime make up look, L’Oreal’s new eye paints are amazing (seriously), and I drew this face chart for this post…I’m obsessed with it. Face charts have always been one of my favorite things. When I was little, I used to spend so much time dissecting the face charts my mom would come home with from the department store. They are just so interesting! I’ve never drawn one before, but when we shot the finished look I thought it might be fun to have a good “take home” item from this post, especially because I used drugstore beauty for this entire look. Who doesn’t love that?!
Recently, L’Oreal launched their blush paint palette and eye paints, both of which are now in my daily rotation. The “Paints” line is really quite amazing, as you know! All of us girls are obsessed with the lip paints (I mean it’s all we can talk about), so when we heard there would be more products in the Paints line, we were excited. The Paints are just what they sound like, EXTRA pigmented and they last all day. What more could you want for your makeup?
I’ve been experimenting with their new eye shadow paints, and I’ve been really loving the look. I’m not typically a “cream” eyeshadow girl. I usually feel like it either doesn’t dry fast enough and cracks, or it really never drys and just gets smudgy. I will have to say that these are great, but don’t load up too much! Just use enough to cover and blend. Otherwise, things get weird!
I’m also a fan of the new blush palette. I am a blush girl and wear it every day, but this one is really nice because it has the main tones you would normally wear, which I love. It’s a game changer for travel. I now only need one blush!
