    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

I totally fell in love with Beatrice and Teddy! At the beginning of the book I SO wanted it to be all about Beatrice and Conner… so this one caught me off guard, but I loved their story.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

Honestly, I thought Katharine did an excellent job wrapping up the book, but I REALLY wanted a royal wedding! ha!

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

I’m convinced Ethan is the King’s son. I NEED TO KNOW MORE!

I completely agree about Ethan being the King’s son!

I love the theory of Ethan being the kings son!

I AM SO GLAD I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS ETHAN IS THE KING’S SON. Oh man, do we need a book 3 now!!

    1. I think the best relationship shake-up in Majesty is Beatrice slowly falling for Connor. I liked that it seemed like it happened slowly. I think that both Sam and Beatrice both seem to grow as people which we see in their relationship choices.
    2. I mostly liked the end of the book, but I definitely wanted there to be a royal wedding. (Didn’t we all?!?!?)
    3. The third book should definitely be about Sam’s tour…or a royal wedding (Sam or Beatrice, I’m not picky)

Stephanie! I’m with you TEAM ROYAL WEDDING!!!

    1. Beatrice and Teddy completely caught me off guard! I was rooting for Connor, but then as she and Teddy developed a relationship I became very conflicted. I was glad he came to the wedding in the end though because it gave some closure to Beatrice but also me as the reader. Nina and Ethan came out of no where as well!

    2. The ending wasn’t quite the happy ending I wanted but I also thought it was really well done – and really, the only thing that I was bothered by was Daphne’s. On the one hand, we’re left with the idea that Daphne has isolated herself and will never truly be happy with Jefferson. But even with her accepting that and realizing she’d never have what she actually wanted now, I was still sorry to see her end up with Jefferson because it still felt like her triumph.

    3. While I’d never say no to a royal wedding, I think I’d actually want to see a focus on Daphne/Jefferson, and Ethan/Nina. Of course, I’d love to see more about the sisters and how they’re ruling the USA but I think I was left with the most lingering quetsions about the relationships I mentioned previously.

    Delightful read!

Anne! I’m with you I definitely want to know more about Daphne/Jefferson and Ethan/Nina! SO MUCH TO UNPACK!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?
At the end of American Royals I was hard core team Connor and did NOT like Teddy. My oh my did that ever change!! I LOVE Bea & Teddy together. Their relationship is the sweetest & my absolute favorite. Ahh! All the joy for those two!

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?
Oh I was NOT happy with the ending of that book! KMG did a great job with it of course, but I was so sad that we didn’t see a royal wedding. I’m proud of Bea…but good night I want a royal wedding!

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?
Oooh so many. I want to hear about whether Ethan is the king’s son!!!! I also want to really develop the Teddy/Bea plotline…cannot wait to hear about that royal wedding in detail. Finally, I found Sam annoying in book 1, but by the end I have really come to love and respect her. I would love to hear more about her and Marshall.

KMG – if you’re reading this. Let’s get a third…fourth…fifth…sixth book!! The women of America are ready to help get this DONE! xoxo

Hahahah!! Third, fourth, fifth, SIXTH BOOK!!!

  5. September 25, 2020 / 12:48 pm

    1. I was sort of rooting for Connor and Bea at the end of the first book, and honestly I wasn’t sure about Teddy. He might have been this bachelor stud that seemed like the perfect fit on paper, but I was more really feeling the connection between Teddy and Sam. So I thought that they were the real deal. But then this second book came in and just said, “Connor who?” And to be fair I did forget about Connor for about 92% of the book. Teddy just swooped in and charmed her, and showered her with love and affection and kindness and all of the good things. I suppose we had to wait until Bea got over her Connor phase to truly appreciate the gentleman that is Teddy. I did think it was a bit odd that Teddy and Sam’s romance was so blown up and made to be such a driving force for Sam throughout the first book, and the first half of the second book to then just poof into thin air. I feel like that could have been delved into much more so that we didn’t feel like it was all fake and like a quick schoolgirl crush (which in our defense, Sam made it to be way way more than that sooo?)

    2. I WAS SOOO ROOTING FOR A BOSS QUEEN. I was eagerly awaiting for this wedding to be called off in just about every chapter. I mean, come on. Teddy is a winner and I would wife him in a Pelopponesian minute. BUT Bea needs to rule as queen before she marries. She needs to send out the message that women don’t need men to guide them, to make good decisions, and this message needs to reach the doubters and to the women and girls who look up to her for inspiration. I stan a bold queen.

    3. I would write about how Nina finally finds her courage, her self-confidence and the boldness to go after Jeff and stop playing these dumb “weak girl/damsel/girl who got hurt and is afraid to go after what she wants” role. I would beef that love story up, give Jeff some bold moves too, dive into Bea’s reign and her love story with Teddy of course because Teddy is dream guy material, Sam’s growth in her new role influencing and being a powerful player who learned the rules just so she could break and rewrite them. I also think Ethan is the king’s son, so that should be a juicy storyline (because then Daphne would be getting a prince either way, right? Not that I’m rooting for Daphne, I have no idea where I stand with this character. I admire the poise and the determination she has, but she is ruthless and well I’m just not here for selfishness and being just outright mean).

    4. Are we getting another book in this series? Does anyone know? I need answers! haha

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

I always hoped Teddy and Beatrice would end up happy and in love, so I’m so happy that happened! I liked Nina and Ethan because they are both outsiders mixed in with the royals and were able to have a somewhat normal relationship despite their past relationships and friendships (as normal as possible considering how they started). I loved Sam and Marshall because he ultimately helped her grow and determine her real feelings about Teddy, which in turn helped Beatrice and Sam’s relationship. Which brings me to my favorite new relationship – the adult relationship between sisters who can understand and support each other!

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I like how the book wraps up loose ends but I want more! I WANT BOTH! That’s why we NEED a third book – we need a little insight into Beatrice being a boss babe and ruling alone and a big royal wedding!

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

So many different things! Will Sam and Marshall work out and live happily ever after? Or will things fizzle while she’s on tour and it just be a relationship that helped her grow? Does Daphne actually get her happy ending? Does Jeff really love her? Will he ever figure out all the horrible things she did? Does she get the life she wanted but ends up sad and lonely? And the best story line of all is of course Teddy and Beatrice! How long will Beatrice rule without a king consort? Let’s have that big royal wedding of course. And maybe some babies, first born should be a girl who follows her her moms footsteps!

  7. September 25, 2020 / 1:43 pm

    1. At first, I was not sure how Bea and Teddy were going to work out but I love the way their relationship progressed. I also love the way she addressed her relationship with Connor.

    2. I liked the way the book ended and left a little space for a third possible book. I love that Bea ended up ruling as her own! She’s going to make an excellent Queen.

    3. Oddly enough, I am curious to see Daphne and Jeff’s relationship and how it would play out. I also want more insight into Bea being a Queen and how her relationship blossoms with her sister, Sam.

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:51 pm

I’m with you, I want to see Daphne as a miserable princess! hahah!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

I loved the development of a genuine relationship (instead of just for state or press) of Teddy and Bea. When he brought her the Disney wedding ears, I melted. To me, that showed he had been paying attention and was wanting to develop their relationship into something more of a love match.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I was excited for Bea to rule on her own, but I also think she’s quite capable of doing that with Teddy (or whoever) by her side. It would be neat to develop her husband into a Prince Philip type role and see how that changes the dynamic of their relationship.

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

ALL OF THEM-ha! I am interested to see what becomes of Teddy and Bea, Sam and Marshall, Daphne and Jefferson. I want them all to have love matches in the end even though I know that’s not how it always works out in the royal family. Since this is fiction, I prefer my happily ever after ; )

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

Samantha and Marshall! I loved seeing Sam evolve in this book and the banter between her and Marshall was ADORABLE! (I loved when he called her a Skittle! Cracked me up!) That scene in the carriage? Too cute! We got to see a softer, calmer side of Sam in this book, even though she still had her rash decisions.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I am Team Royal Wedding ALL THE WAY. I was disappointed Bea didn’t marry Teddy at the end of the book. Is it the right storyline? Yes….but I was shipping hard for the two of them to get married by the end of the book! Their relationship was so sweet as it unfolded. I loved the first time Bea visited his family and had a little too much to drink!

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

I really like Ethan and agree there’s something more to the story (King’s son?!!) there. I’d like to hear more about Jefferson – I feel like we don’t know him well but through Daphne and Nina’s eyes. Also, I would love a Himari storyline! She may be gone for now, but I would love to see her return and shake things up with Daphne. The girl put her in a coma for heavens’ sake. I’d love to see things explode for Daphne.

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:49 pm

I AM WITH YOU. I feel like Himari IS NOT OVER IT.

    1. I loved all the love triangles in this second book! If I had to choose, I think I would say I loved Bea and Teddy’s relationship the most. In the first book, I absolutely adored her relationship with Connor, so I think I was surprised at how much I was rooting for Teddy at the end. The way they both fell for each other when they were least expecting it was so sweet!

    2. I was surprised by the ending of this book! The whole time I figured it would wrap up in a pretty little bow with a royal wedding to close out the book, but I was thrilled with Bea’s decision! Don’t get me wrong, I am still excited for the wedding, but I’m just hoping that means we get another book!!

    3. I hope Katharine McGee writes about this alternate America for years and years to come! I need ALL the books. However, I would love to focus on what is next for Nina and who she ends up with in the future!

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:49 pm

Ellie, I am totally with you I need these books for “years and years to come”!!

  11. September 25, 2020 / 4:26 pm

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?
I just love the new relationship between Beatrice and Teddy. It shows how love can grow slow and isn’t always quick and firey! BUT at the same time – it felt slightly cliche since in American Royals, the King mentioned his own love relationship. I STILL am rooting for Jeff and Nina – and I hope Daphne gets what she deserves!

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?
Who doesn’t love a royal wedding?? As someone not so secretly obsessed with the royals, I was hoping for this one to end in a beautiful royal wedding. That being said, I like how it ended as it set up for a 3rd book! (Plz let there be a 3rd!) On the flip side – all the praise hands for Bea ruling on her own! You go girl!

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?
All of them! I’d secretly love to know where Robert ends up and Connor too!! But I’d love a 3rd revolving around the never-ending relationship drama!

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:48 pm

I’m with you! Would have loved a royal wedding, but GO BEA!!!!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?
I’m going rogue with this question and say that the newly defined relationship between Bee and Sam is my favorite. I think that the two of them working together make a fierce team.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?
Since we got the descriptions of what everyone was wearing for the wedding, I’m ok that the actual ceremony didn’t take place. I would have liked to see Bee feel more confident in her role earlier on (seriously, Robert should have been kicked to the curb the first time he insisted she needed to get married right away!) so we could see her create this new role.

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?
Like other people have pointed out, there is so much to choose from! As a fellow ginger, it pains me to dislike Daphne’s character as much as I do, however, if all the couples stay the same, I’d love to see Ethan turn out to be the King’s son and have his birthday be before the twins’ so that Daphne would have to defer to Nina. (Though I don’t really want to knock Sam out of the heir spot, so maybe he could magically have the same birthday but have been born in the few minutes between Sam and Jeff). I think reading about Sam & Nina’s summer of adventure would also be entertaining!

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:47 pm

I’m so team “Ethan is the King’s son”!!!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

First of all, this book was NOTHING like what I thought it might be and I LOVED that. I love how each character had such a different self discovery/relationship arc than I imagined. Like just about everyone else, I loved how Beatrice truly fell for Teddy, and that it wasn’t just about how sweet he is (although, um SWOON) but that they truly complement each other as a couple. I loved that each new relationship was about it isn’t about what you think you want in a relationship, but discovering who someone is and how you fit together, and how each couple realized it in such different ways and for different reasons, for me particularly Beatrice and Teddy and Sam and Marshall.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I actually loved the ending, although I think I would have loved it just as much if they had gotten married? I liked the aspect of Beatrice taking charge of her destiny and realizing what she truly wanted, because for me, her realizing that she truly WANTED to be queen was just as important as the various love stories. I can’t wait to see what she is able to accomplish as queen.

    3. If you were to write a third book which story line would you want to write about?

Well, I guess I will break this down for each character!
    1. Bea and Teddy ruling together, and adding some progressive change to America.
    2. Sam going on the Royal Tour with Nina, her relationship with Marshall developing, and helping Nina navigate her feelings for Ethan.
    3. I have no idea about the Daphne story line, but if future books are anything like this one was, it will be anything but what I’d imagine, and be so much better as well! I love love love these books there better be more on the way!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

I absolutely loved Teddy and Bea. I’m such a romantic/sap and I really wanted them to become something so it was perfect.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I was absolutely hoping for a royal wedding but the ending was still great. It does make me wonder since she didn’t commit- could something happen with Connor again?

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

I want to see a royal wedding and maybe see where Jefferson’s life goes!

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:43 pm

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

I was a HUGE Conner fan during the first book, that relationship had so much intensity to it and I loved it, SO I found myself so surprised to see how much I was rooting for Teddy and Bea! I like I just love love, but I absolutely adored how sweet and tender their relationship felt, and how natural it felt.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

I was all for a royal wedding, but I absolutely agree that it was the right thing to do! Seeing a woman in power is amazing, and I’d love to hear more about how it goes for her! I’m all for a royal wedding with Teddy and hope we get to read that in a future book!! However, knowing how well Katherine shapes characters and makes me fall in love with new story lines, I could totally see myself rooting for Conner again in the future.

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

Ohh my gosh, ALL of them!! I want to see Daphne get what she deserves. I want to see Bea have a happily ever after (currently rooting for Teddy). I want Nina and Jeff together. I want to see Nina and Sam’s relationship get even stronger again. I want to see Bea and Sam’s sisterly fun and love evolve during their royal tour. I need to read them all!

    • September 28, 2020 / 1:43 pm

I love that you could see yourself rooting for Connor again, because honestly, SAME.

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?
Y’all. I fell so hard for Teddy in this book! I love his sense of duty and the sweet ways he loves on Beatrice. I also really loved Marshall for Sam and am excited they’re giving it a real go.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?
I really commend Katharine for ending the book the way she did. I think Beatrice and Teddy’s relationship is strong enough to endure a wedding delay but I would love to read about their wedding *someday.*

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?
Well I would like to see that wedding, but I also want to know if you conspiracy theorists are right about Ethan!! I also want to see Daphne’s trajectory. Does she get what she deserves? Does she try to live a less empty life? I want to know!

  17. September 28, 2020 / 1:30 pm

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

After my heart recovered from Bea and Conner’s breakup, I fell for Team Teddy and I fell HARD. One thing I did appreciate was how KMG didn’t make any of the guys for any of the relationships a ‘bad’ choice; they were different men that these ladies loved at different stages in their lives. The guy I was in love with when I was 20 is not at all the same kind of man I fell in love with at 26 when my husband and I got married. Now looking back at the ripe old age of 33, I feel like people grow and change SO much in their early twenties, and that’s without the pressures of the crown that Bea must navigate, or Sam’s self esteem issues, or all the shit Nina has gone through (Daphne can suck it). Re Tedatrice (Beateddy?), it felt very natural that the man Bea was in love with when she was still a princess is so different than the man she loves as Queen. Plus, Teddy with his brothers. I MELTED.

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

Okay. So I finished the book, set it down, stood up (it’s 2:30 in the morning and my husband is solidly asleep at this point) and yelled “WHAT THE F*CK?!” I’m sorry, but I was upset! After everything, Daphne needed to be standing in the rain, alone! After I had time to process it more, though, I think that it couldn’t have really ended it any differently and kept the integrity of the growth the characters have gone through. Bea and Teddy couldn’t get married right then because it would have destroyed the GORGEOUS arc of Bea finding herself as Queen. And it’s not like they won’t get married. Plus we got the gown and the pomp (and the Cambridges; don’t think I missed that perfect cameo and plug for another Cambridge baby!), so I didn’t feel *completely* deprived (KMG if you’re reading these though PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY WE NEED A WEDDING ONE DAY. ). Daphne had to get Jeff back. She doesn’t get to be happy after all the crud she put Nina through. That being said…

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

    I. WANT. SAM’S. TOUR. AND. DAPHNE’S. DOWNFALL. I have never needed a fictional character to get their comeuppance as much as I need Daphne to lose everything. Or, maybe even more satisfying, for Daphne to tell her parents to take a hike and give up everything and to go live in a hovel in Paris and find her own happiness. That would be amazing. But yes. Dying for Sam’s tour and the eventual Tedatrice wedding (and baby…? ). But, really, as long as there’s a book three it can be about whomever. I just desperately don’t want to finish with these characters and this brilliant world that KMG has built for us to explore!

“I. WANT. SAM’S. TOUR. AND. DAPHNE’S. DOWNFALL. ” Dying. Same!!!

    1. There were so many relationship shake-ups in Majesty. Which new relationship was your favorite and why?

Teddy & Bea, for sure! I was also Team Connor after reading the first book, but I feel like KMG did such a good job developing Bea as a person in this book, which made her and Teddy falling for each other so much sweeter!

    2. How did you feel about the ending of the book? Were you excited to see Bea rule on her own or were you not so secretly hoping for a royal wedding?

Of course I wanted a royal wedding! Who doesn’t want a royal wedding, haha. But, if not having a royal wedding means we can have a 3rd book – I will take it! I would also LOVE for Bea and Teddy to elope to Disney World & have Bea’s childhood dream wedding

    3. If you were to write a third book which storyline would you want to write about?

All of them. But, to echo a few of y’all’s thoughts – I really want Daphne to pay for her evil actions haha. I want to see that! So bad!

    1. I loved Bea and Teddy’s relationship! Seeing it blossom and Bea find confidence in her queenship really warmed my heart. I was previously 5000% Team Connor and couldn’t believe I could be anything else. But as Bea fell in love with Teddy so did I. I’m so happy for them! I was also surprised by Ethan and Nina’s relationship, and also loved Sam and Marshall’s! I just loved it all!

    2. Truthfully, like Teddy, I wish they could’ve still gotten married, although I completely understand and support Bea’s decision. She really came into her own and was emboldened to be herself in a royal capacity – we love to see it!

    3. Oh goodness, I couldn’t leave anyone out! I need to know how the tour goes with Sam and Nina! I need more Bea and Teddy PLEASE! What happens with Ethan and Nina?! And please Jeff, realize that Daphne is no good! But also, Daphne needs some actual love to soften her edges, and we know Jeff won’t fulfill her… maybe an unknown character can come in and bring this girl some happiness and resolution? KMG, we need another!
