The Drink of The Season
A few months ago, I started working with Blue Chair Bay Rum, and oh my gosh I’m so glad this partnership happened because y’all, their coconut rum is SO. GOOD. This post is not sponsored, but I just had to share my favorite recipe here as well because with beach/pool/lake season upon us, I wanted to make sure you could bookmark + pin this recipe and come back to it when the time is right! I’ve shared it a handful of times on my Instagram stories, but it’s so good it deserves its own blog post.
Here’s the deal: Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum is vegan, gluten free, and under 100 calories, and the way I make this cocktail, it stays that way! It truly has such a fresh taste, perfect for a day in the sun that feels very “vacation-y”, without all the extra stuff. Plus, this recipe couldn’t be any simpler if it tried. It almost feels too good to be true, but it’s not.
Coco-Lime Rum Cocktail
2 oz of Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum
1 oz of Fresh Lime Juice (if you want a sweeter drink, substitute ginger ale!)
Lime Wedge for Garnish
Pour rum and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and shake until cold. Then pour over ice and top with soda water, add lime as garnish. THAT IS IT.
