DIY Snowman Marshmallows

This year ditch the cookies because marshmallows are what your really neighbors want.  A couple weeks ago my sister, Kyla, came over bearing gifts in the form of marshmallow snowmen…

DIY Hair Barrettes – Girls’ Night Part 2

I’m getting on a role with these craft nights. This last one was all about making hair barrettes and hair ties, because who doesn’t need a few more of those? There is just nothing better than a night with your best girls, a bottle of champagne or two, and some good old fashioned crafting.

A few weeks ago my girlfriend Danielle and I were chatting about how we could intentionally be more FUN, you know… like in the old days!

BACKYARD DIY SERIES PART IIII: Cedar Wood …

Today I’m letting Ryan takeover the blog again, because let’s face it… I am not what you’d call “handy”! And, he did a pretty awesome job building the cedar planter, so I thought it would be fun for him to share just how he pulled it off. Seeing The Potential!

BACKYARD DIY SERIES PART III: Entertaining

We are back with part three of our Summer Backyard Series, and I am so excited I can’t stand it. Ryan has been showing off his handy work in the last two posts that you can see here and here, but now it’s my turn. There is little I love more in life than entertaining.

Backyard DIY Series Part II: Canopy Lights

I’m so excited to share Part 2 in our Backyard series (see Part 1 here) with you today AND to have Ryan takeover for the day. Like I mentioned last week, our backyard was his project, and it would be cruel to not let him show it off.

Backyard DIY Series Part 1: An Introduction

First off, let me just preface this backyard DIY post with 1. This project was NOT done in a weekend! and 2. I did little to no work. I picked out flowers and pots… and that’s it. Ryan did this whole thing by himself with the exception of two days when he had a friend help him move rocks.
