The Best Oversized Blazer – Fall Transition

The Classics

A few weeks ago I did a sponsored post for Talbots and I absolutely, 1,000% fell in love with the look. It felt like it was too good just to live only on Instagram. My style is very classic with a touch of old Hollywood. I love pieces that make me feel like Cindy Crawford in the 90’s but with a Marilyn Monroe bold lip, and this look is all of that in a nutshell.

Oversized blazers are so flattering and downright cozy! I know for those of us in the South it’s still a touch (to put it lightly) too warm to really go full-on-blazer, but it’s great for indoors and will make a fantastic transition piece going into Fall.

This particular blazer isn’t a white. It’s an ivory with a slight texture… so if you are thinking no white past Labor Day, think again. This will become a staple in your closet as soon as you hang it up.

But enough about the blazer, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE SHOES. Talbots and Ann Taylor have the greatest shoes both in comfort and price range. I always look at those stores first when I’m looking for a shoe that is not only chic but also comfortable! But again, these pink suede pumps are just so good and I love the gold detail on the heel!

This is one of those outfits that I’ll wear over and over again this Fall.

Love this! How do you find the sizing of the blazer?

Hi Caroline! I’m wearing a size 4 but could have worn a size 2! xx
