Happy style post Wednesday to you! Today’s look is kind of amazing… when we were putting together this look I originally thought this would be the perfect concert outfit (because honestly, THIS SHIRT IS AMAZING), which by the way it totally is. But, I love it so much I think it should be worn more places! I’m thinking, out for drinks, dancing, late night dinners, … I could go on. I just really love all the different shades and textures of black and gray which I think really makes this look interesting. Plus who doesn’t love a good monochromatic outfit, seriously!? I came like this close —> <— to having my nails painted black as well when my mom walked into the dressing room at the studio and said “whoa girl, whoa. You need to draw the line somewhere.” But, the more I think about it the more I like the girly light pink polish with this outfit, it makes it much more feminine! So, good call mom… you are right again!!
Also, I can’t wrap this post up without sharing with you my favorite part of this whole look… the clutch! I know I have mentioned Market Colors before, but today I wanted to formally introduce them to you! Market Colors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mitigating financial hardships and improving the quality of life for the impoverished in Africa. So what this means is, this AMAZEFEST clutch was handmade by a group of refugee women from Nairobi, Kenya and by purchasing this clutch it will feed their family. Incredible right? I love when shopping and doing good go hand and hand… don’t you?! Anyway, all of that to say…. run yourself over to Market Colors and buy yourself a treat!
….and yes, it’s true…. rap music does in fact make me feel invincible.
