Photo 1. I’ve decided this is the perfect Saturday look, my new go to! And let’s be real, we all have 1 zillion of those target t-shirts ( you know, the $8.00 ones, that become your favorite in an instant!) and this is a great solution to giving those favorite tees a little sass!
Head scarf + statement earrings + favorite tee =an effortless Saturday look.
P.S. Nail polish, head scarf, and T-shirt are all from Target! Earrings are from a little place in Atlanta, but here is a similar pair!
Photo 2: I’m not what you would call an amazing swimmer. Don’t get me wrong, I can totally swim, but when it comes to doing laps in the pool COUNT ME OUT. It’s sad, I can’t swim in a straight line to save my life, I just look like a splashy-hot-mess. But on the other hand, my husband is awesome and swimming laps is one of his very favorite things to do. As of recently it’s normal for him to swim well over a 1/2 mile a day and I have taken up the sport of counting his laps and watching. If I’m being totally honest, it’s my new hobby… what can I say, he just looks so cute those goggles.
Photo 3: Over the weekend B and another one of my besties, Bradley (who is about ready to have a baby ANY day now!! Ah!!) came over to have a baking date. My parents recently dropped off a ginormous bag of fresh apples from our favorite orchard in Georgia, and my first thought when I saw the bag was… “apple bread!” So I called the girls over to make a day of it! We had so much fun peeling, chopping, and mixing together! It was the perfect afternoon, plus we each ended up with a few delicious loaves!
P.S. This is the recipe we used… delicious (and healthy too!!)!
