Here is a tiny peek into what my weekend looked like…

Photo 1. One of my girlfriends and I did a little J.Crew Outlet drive by on Saturday night… I am so happy we did! I happily left the store with blue pants (which I LOVE), a bright orange stripped shirt (can’t ever have enough stripes) AND this necklace. To say that I am obsessed with this necklace may be an understatement.

P.S. The J. Crew outlet and I are besties… if you’ve never been you. need. to. go.

Photo 2. This is a just a little peek at my new studio! It’s slowly getting there, but I can say proudly that everything is finally unpacked! Whoo-hoo! Now it’s time to just make it pretty. This weekend I took a few books, my little family illustration, roses from our back yard, a yummy candle, a framed engagement photograph my dad took, and styled it all together.  I love the way it looks… now I just need to work on the rest of the room! Baby steps..

Photo 3: On Saturday afternoon I co-hosted a bridal shower for one of my girlfriends – side note: we’ve been friends for.ever. and we were even roommates throughout college- so needless to say it was such fun to spoil her with lots of pink goodies! One of the items I was in charge of for the shower was the decor… I found this fabric at JoAnn’s and fell in love with it! So of course I themed the whole party around it right down to the pink straws and hanging poufs!

P.S. One of my co-hosts started a game that was so clever, it was “name that famous couple” it ended up being so much fun! <— that’s my kind of trivia!

Alright, I’m off to get this Monday started! I hope your well caffeinated and ready to go!
