Like I promised on Monday… I’m giving away a few of my Holiday Favorites!! I’m so excited about this fabulous giveaway, and I can’t wait for one very lucky reader to get this fun festive box in the mail. As you know I am doing a seasonal giveaway at the start of every new season/or Holiday (I’ve already got some great ideas for Spring…if I can wait that long. My favorite holiday memory is getting all dressed up and going to the downtown Cincinnati Shilito’s store where we would walk through Santaland, see the window displays and see Santa as a little girl…I know the Macy’s in NYC still has this same kind of thing and someday I want to take my kids there so they cam have the festive memories I have…
My favorite holiday food is something my family makes every year for Christmas – tamales!
My favorite Christmas activity is going to look at Christmas lights!! ..with a side cup of russian tea
I love baking and cooking for all the many Christmas activities… with Christmas music playing and enjoying a glass of wine!
It will not seem like Christmas at our house without watching the local Christmas parade, snuggling close together during the fireworks while sipping hot chocolate, and then going to the theatre for the opening night of the current Christmas production by the Junior theatre actors and actresses. Our favorite holiday food consists of anything with peppermint in it!
My favorite holiday activity is the candlelight Christmas Eve service at our church!
I LOVE driving around town and seeing all of the Chirstmas lights. And drinking hot chocolate and playing Christmas music while we decorate the tree!
My all time favorite thing is christmas cookie baking..I bake about 20 different kinds of cookies and they are my favorite!!!!
I love the glow of my 3 pink Christmas trees in my living room while snuggling on the couch with a blanket watching a show. LOVE!

My favorite holiday food is breakfast casserole with the whole family on Christmas morning! Oh, and my mom’s homemade buscuits!
Putting out all the decorations and watching our fav holdiay movies like christmas vacation and love actually!!
My favorite activity is Christmas eve with all my family.

Being still, walking in the woods…removed from all the commercialism and remembering to keep the peace that is in my heart in that moment with me the rest of the year.

My favorite tradition is a big breakfast that we eat together as a family on Christmas morning!
My favorite activity is putting up the Christmas tree and lighting a holiday candle while listening to Christmas music! My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve at my parents when my mom makes all of our favorite appetizers before opening gifts!
My favorite tradition is Christmas event my Emma’s, Christmas breakfast at my nanas! And new one: baking with my 2 year old!
There are so many to pick from…but I think my favorite tradition at Christmas is setting up the tree while listening to music and watching Christmas movies. A little popcorn and eggnog doesn’t hurt either!
This year, I am hoping to start a new tradition of reading ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” to my niece. It will be her first Christmas.
I also love spending Christmas Eve at my parent’s house and eating all of favorite appetizers and playing games while waiting until Midnight to open gifts.
When I was a little girl my Mother ran out of wrapping paper just when it was time to wrap my ” best” present. Being the innovator she is, she took scraps of all the paper and wrapped my gift. I LOVED IT!! Not the gift, the wrapping. 46 years later, she is still wrapping my gift the same way. I love my mom!
My favorite holiday tradition is the candle light service at church on Christmas Eve. There is something about everyone standing in candlelight singing “Amazing Grace” that always gives me goosebumps.
Christmas wouldn’t be the same without that tradition!
I love Christmas music from the minute it comes on the radio, I’m listening!
I am creating new holiday memories this year since it’s my first holiday season living in NYC! So far visiting The Plaza has been the best memory!
