Good morning and happy Monday to you!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend, here is a peek at what I was up to!

Photo 1. I picked up this adorable little bug necklace at the Kate Spade store opening on Thursday night, and on Sunday I took it out for a spin! It’s kind of adorable and I’m not going to lie, it received quite a few complements… it’s a Summer must have!

P.S. I paired the Kate Spade bug with a white and blue infinity scarf + navy shirt dress, both from Gap! Oh and my nails are Essie Madison-Ave Hue!

Photo 2. I’ve been working on re-doing my bedroom, first came the paint and then came the fancy pillows, and now I am working on styling my dresser! I just got this massive white dresser from Ikea… and I love it, so now it’s time to make it look all pretty!

Good morning and happy Monday to you!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend, here is a peek at what I was up to!

Photo 1. I picked up these BRIGHT orange roses from Publix last week… 3 for $12, honestly how could I pass that up?! They stayed bright and pretty for days and days…. and of course, on Saturday morning they were all in full bloom, which made my morning cup of coffee just a bit brighter!

Photo 2. A few of my girlfriends came over on Saturday afternoon with the intention to spend the day sipping piña coladas in the back yard while sunning ourselves, you know, just pretending we were on Spring Break…. but then, it rained. So we jumped to plan B: I whipped up a batch of homemade guac and served up fish tacos while we sipped on our piña coladas inside… plan B might have been better than plan A!

Photo 3. On Sunday I drove up to Augusta, SC to meet little miss Violet! Jillian and I have been best friends since we were 3, and she and her husband, Andy, welcomed baby Violet into the world about a month ago and I have been dying to meet her! She is everything I thought she’d be, plus… she smells like a baby cupcake! She’s absolute heaven, and I am once again… one lucky honorary Auntie!

Okay, I’m only here in Augusta until tomorrow… so I am off to sip coffee with my bestie who lives way too far away, snuggle Violet, and chat about how CRAZY it is that she actually has A BABY!!

Photo 1: I had one of those weekends where I was literally going non-stop… but none the less, I did make time to hit up the J.Crew Outlet 50% off sale. I may have been busy, but a 50% off sale at J.Crew is an event I will not miss. Priorities peoples, priorities.

Photo 2: I had a few different events this weekend that I needed to bring a dessert to so while flipping through my recipes I finally just decided to go with the classic chocolate chip cookie, because let’s be real… you can never go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie! Plus I have the world’s best recipe —> YOU NEED TO MAKE THESE!!

Photo 3:  On Sunday afternoon I finally painted my bedroom… with the help of my sister and brother-in-law (and of course my favorite Pandora station) we knocked it out in just a few short hours! To be honest I am the world’s WORST painter, but luckily my sister and her husband are semi-professional DIY-ers so, I was in good hands! I’m super excited about the room’s new look, I chose Atmosphere Blue by Restoration Hardware and I am thrilled with the way the color turned out!

Photo 1: On Saturday night I drove down south and attended the annual Cancer Care Foundation charity event. We’ve been going to this event for years, and every year it is a wonderful night! The family that started this charity holds the event each year on their property overlooking the river and since the weather wasn’t really participating on Saturday they ended up tenting the event which made it all the more cozy! It’s hard to beat a night of champagne, lovely people, and fancy clothes!

Photo 2: I put my new (and adorable) Lindsay Letters “You’re Pretty” print up in my closet this weekend. In my closet I have a, what I like to call, “dress-up” area and I thought this print would be kind of adorable pinned up on my floor length mirror next to all my over the top accessories!

Photo 3. The idea of going to Ikea on a Sunday afternoon sends me into a panic attack… so. many. people. and so. many. deals. my brain can’t handle it. But if you tell me that I will get an ice cream cone if I go, then I am 100% totally into the idea.

P.S. Have you seen our new Fancy Flamingo print and folded cards, they are so cute I can’t stand it! I have the print sitting on my desk right now!

Photo 1. I spent the majority of my Saturday working outside while sipping pretty lattes in Winter Park. I have a theory, if you must work on a Saturday, than you might as well make it a bit fancy!

Photo 2. It was absolutely stunning outside on Saturday, so I thought I’d bring Lucy to Winter Park with me while I worked… she was a hit, making friends left and right!

P.S. Also, it was also the perfect day to turn this beach cover-up into a dress!

Photo 3: And lastly, I went to the Taylor Swift concert over the weekend, feel free to judge me all you want…. I don’t care, I had THE best time. We jumped around like we were 15 and sang at the top of our lungs! It was hysterical, and now I want to go back.

P.S. And just as an added bonus I got to sport my $7.00 (isn’t that bananas?!) Forever 21 boots (on the far right), adorable.

Photo 1: I spent most of the weekend sipping cocktails on the back porch while wearing cut off shorts, a preppy gingham top, and Ray-Bans…. Spring time in Florida is just the best.

Photo 2: The view from the tippity top of the Titusville bridge, one of my favorite places to spend a Saturday morning, getting a brisk walk in with my favorite people!

Photo 3: I added a few more trinkets to my bar cart this weekend, including this fancy little illustrated cocktail book!
