Ashley Brooke Designs: A Glamorous Christmas
Rita is far and away one of our most glamorous clients at Ashley Brooke Designs! Whenever Rita gets in touch we know she’s going to up for something fun and different! Her Christmas cards this year were no exception and they are one of our favorites of the season! I love the chic black and gray combination and the shimmery bracket card sets the whole thing off perfectly!

Etiquette Wednesday: Tips for Popping Bubbly! {The New Years Eve Edition}
Cool and sparkly, Champagne is definitely my favorite part of the New Year’s Eve festivities! So what better topic for etiquette Wednesday than how to achieve the perfect pop for New Year’s Eve.
Step 1: Be sure the bubbly is quite cold. The bottle should feel extremely cold not just cool to the touch.
Step 2: Wipe down the bottle so you can get a good grip and remove the wire cage from around the cork.
Step 3: Drape a dish towel over the top of the bottle support the neck with one hand letting your thumb rest on the cork for extra protection should the pop not go perfectly.
Step 4: With your free hand grab the fat part of the bottle and slowly turn the bottle while you hold the cork steady…it’s tempting to pull the cork out as soon as it starts getting loose but turn the bottle slowly until you hear a little pop!

Ashley Brooke Designs: A Florida Holiday
One of my favorite clients is Debbie Keller, I just LOVE her! From day one of Ashley Brooke Designs she had been there supporting me and loving on my business so when I get an e-mail from her I always know I’m in for a fun project and this one was no different! Debbie is a long time client of my parents and had this stunning image my dad took of her beautiful twin girls for me to design around! I had such a great time creating a Florida-esque Christmas card and just know her family and friends were delighted to receive such a fun card in the mail! I think the coral and blue are a breath of fresh air this time of year, don’t you?

Ashley Brooke Designs: The WHOLE Family (including the dogs!)
Hi there! I hope you are having a wonderful break, we are trying to take it easy too this week and reorganize, regroup, and spend some time with family before starting 2011 with a bang! My mom and I even have a shopping date planned for Friday (a date that we’ve been making and breaking since October!)! Anyways, I thought today would be perfect to show you our family (my side) Christmas card! Once again I did the illustrations and designed the card and my Dad photographed the image mounted on the card (he had the camera clicker in his pocket!). This is our first BIG family photo adding in the boys and the grand puppies, we had such a good time at the studio making this image happen!

Merry Christmas From Our Home to Yours!
Merry Christmas Eve! I hope you are all having such a wonderful and snuggly morning! I am sporting my Christmas PJs and sipping from my “Santa’s Helper” mug ! I’m so beyond excited to get to celebrating JC’s birthday this weekend, but before I sign off for a bit I wanted to share a bit of our Christmas with you! Above is the Mr. and I’s Christmas Card, I just L-O-V-E the way the whole thing came together. My Dad of course photographed our little family and I did the illustrations so it was a family collaboration, my favorite kind of collaboration!
Of course I had to show you my ADORABLE dogs Lucy and Sam in there Christmas Collars and Reindeer Antlers, they are so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!! And if you were wondering, they are definitely more naughty than nice! Lucy has already unwrapped her gift! I should have known better than to wrap her bone and put it under the tree.
